A team from Molson took part in the 3rd annual Frank Water stand-up paddleboarding fundraising challenge this month, raising over £1000.

The fancy dress event, held on Bristol’s historic harbourside, raises funds and awareness for Frank Water, our long-standing charity partner, and its important “Stand Up For Safe Water” campaign.

Our team of paddleboarders, dressed as Teletubbies, joined 24 teams from the Bristol business community against the stunning backdrop of the colourful harbourside properties.

Competition was fierce but friendly, and the Molson team battled through the heats to reach the knockout stages, led by Martyn Tucker, Group Service Director. Despite some exceptional performances, notably from Jordan Hooper, Commercial Analyst and David Hearse, Warehouse Manager, the team narrowly missed out on a spot on the podium.

However, Molson did claim a prize on the day, with Martyn Tucker winning the award for stand-out paddler of the day.

Overall, the event was a huge success, with everyone who took part having a great time. Thanks go to SUP Bristol who organised the event, ably assisted on the day by Molson Community Champion event volunteers.

All funds raised during the event will directly go to fund safe water and sanitation for some of the worlds most marginalised communities, helping to build the charities vision of a water-secure future.
