The Jackson 3

May 4, 2017

Molson group’s famed high level of service for our customers has seen a north yorkshire based plant hire; groundwork contracting and recycled aggregates business expand its fleet of machines.

Jackson Plant had experienced such a poor level of service from a rival Kobelco dealership that it turned to Molson to help supply three extra machines.

The Thirsk rm had purchased a Kobelco SK140SRLC-3 from its local dealership but despite positive reviews of the machine itself; felt that the post-sale service was poor.

So poor in fact that the team at Jackson Plant contacted Molson directly when it needed to expand its fleet with the introduction of the smallest mini excavator in the Kobelco range, the 1.04tonne operating weight SK10SR-3.

And since then the bosses at Jackson Plant have been so impressed by the quality of the machine and high level of service offered by Molson, it has taken two more Kobelco mini excavators, both the 2.9tonne operating weight SK28SR-6 crawlers.

In addition to the extra machines Molson has also taken on the remains of the warranty left on the original SK140RLC-3.

“The team at Jackson Plant had become disillusioned with the service they were being offered by another dealership despite it being local to them. We have proven that thanks to the facilities we have at our Warrington depot and the team of mobile engineers that are able to cover the country, we are more than a match for anyone,” explains Molson area sales manager Andy Wilkinson, adding, “In this industry you have to be able to look after your customer and make sure you do your utmost to keep them working. Molson is passionate about making sure the plant we supply is running to the advantage of our customers and that means we have to maintain high levels of service.”
