Building Up the Demolition Range From Sennebogen

September 18, 2024

Wherever it takes place, demolition is always a more careful and considered process than it might appear to the outside observer. However, when it comes to demolition in cramped inner city sites, the level of care and precision needs to be taken to a whole new level.

That’s why Sennebogen introduced the brand new Sennebogen 825E Demolition, which premiered in May at IFAT 2024 in Berlin. Extending the already impressive Sennebogen 825E range, which includes waste handlers and scrap handlers, the Sennebogen 825E Demolition expands their demolition capability downwards, into a smaller, more compact and more versatile machine.

Designed for confined spaces

Packed with power, yet flexible, versatile and easy to transport, the Sennebogen 825E Demolition delivers on all the key elements you need when selecting a machine for confined demolition work. But don’t let the compact configuration fool you; the Sennebogen 825E Demolition still boasts an impressive 14 metre reach and 360° swivel range, making it ideal for the close quarters of urban demolition sites.

This long reach is stabilised by a telescopic, 4.2 metre wide-track undercarriage, delivering a robust base from which to work. A mobile version is also available, with road worthy tyres and sturdy claw support.

The safety levels are further enhanced by a flexible cab, which can be both raised and tilted to create the optimum ergonomic working angle. Extra cab height of up to 2.7m ensures the best possible view of high reach work, while a cab tilt of up to 30° allows the operator a clear view of attachments, without needing to lean forward in their seat.

One machine, many uses

To say that the Sennebogen 825E Demolition is just a demolition machine is to significantly undersell its capabilities. The wide range of attachments available, all fixed fast with Sennebogen’s quick change system, means this machine can deliver so much more.

In addition to the standard demolition tools, such as hammers and pulverisers, the Sennebogen 825E Demolition also comes with flexible grabbers. This allows for the removal, sorting and loading of demolition materials using the same machine used for the original demolition. Such on-site sorting and separation of materials can deliver savings both in terms of time and money, compared to performing these tasks separately or sorting waste off site.

Easy to move, ready to go

The Sennebogen 825E Demolition is as flexible as your business, and is designed to be transported easily between sites, and ready to go as soon as it has arrived. Sennebogen have incorporated a hydraulically lowerable counterweight which means that the transport weight of the machine can quickly be reduced by 10tonnes. This means it can be transported on a standard low loader without special permissions.

What’s more, because the Sennebogen 825E Demolition can be transported without any dismantling, it can be rolled off and ready to go almost immediately, without wasting time on complex set-up procedures after transport.

An impressive addition

Molson Construction Sales Director, Stuart Butler, thinks the new machine is an impressive addition to the Sennebogen range.

“Sennebogen have a well-deserved reputation in materials handling and demolition equipment,” he says. “The new Sennebogen 825E Demolition combines the best of both of these capabilities, with a compact yet extensive demolition reach, combined with a full range of materials sorting and loading attachments.

“The Sennebogen 825E Demolition is an ideal choice for companies working in confined spaces, such as city centre demolition projects. It’s also ideal for companies working with confined budgets, where the savings of sorting waste on site can be significant.”
