As Darlington Service Centre teams up with Middlesborough College, we’re very proud to welcome Finn onto our team.
We’re thrilled to announce that Darlington Service Centre is partnering with Middlesbrough College Group as part of the prestigious TTE Engineering Scholarship Programme. This collaboration is a real milestone for us – and a great opportunity to play a hands-on role in shaping the future of engineering by equipping talented students with the skills and experience they need to emerge industry-ready.
The TTE Programme offers students invaluable practical experience designed to mirror the demands of the real world. By being involved, we’re helping to bridge the gap between education and industry, ensuring young engineers are ready to hit the ground running when they graduate.
After an extremely rigorous selection process, we’re really excited to welcome Finn, the first student joining us through the scholarship. Over the next few months, Finn will work closely with our team, gaining real-world insights, mentorship, and the kind of training that truly makes a difference. Will Morris, Darlington’s Site Manager said: “We’re excited to guide Finn and see his skills grow. With the full support of our team, he’ll gain the confidence and know-how to tackle the challenges of a fast-moving industry. It’s a privilege to be part of his journey.”
The programme is equally exciting for the wider engineering community. Matt Telling from Middlesbrough College adds: “We’re incredibly grateful to companies like Molson for their commitment to nurturing talent. It’s partnerships like these that are shaping the engineers of tomorrow.”
From everyone here, we’re looking forward to seeing how Finn grows, learns, and makes his mark – not just on Darlington, but on the industry as a whole.
“We’re incredibly proud of Will’s dedication to nurturing future talent and his passion for showcasing the potential of Darlington on a larger stage. His approach and commitment to this programme have been inspiring. This partnership reflects our shared vision for developing tomorrow’s leaders, and we are excited to see how this initiative grows and creates meaningful impact in the months to come.” Annalea Ormiston, Group Head of People
