Water Treatment Specialist – Cambridge

Reports to: Molson Washing – Applications Director

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Main Responsibilities:

Experienced person, a self starter, with a flexible approach to hours worked. A background in primary aggregate or recycled washing process equipment would be beneficial. Applicants must have practical experience of the operation and maintenance of silt recovery and water clarification systems including flocculant mixing and dosing, plate presses and centrifuge operation.

• Commissioning of aggregate washing plant projects including water treatment systems.
• Supporting customer needs with regard to water treatment and plant operation generally.
• Supporting processing contracts as may be required.
• Record keeping in accordance with ISO9001
• Work on customer sites and have a hands-on approach to commissioning and operation.
• Care of company vehicle and reporting defects. Ford Ranger or equivalent
• Good Communication with customers and other staff

Skill and Experience

• Practical knowledge of proprietary water and sludge pumps.
• Practical knowledge of water treatment and flocculant dosing systems.
• Practical knowledge of variable speed drives.
• CSCS/Quarry Safety Pass card holder is preferred.
• Appointed Person, Lift Supervisor, Telescopic Handler and Artic-Boom experience useful.

• Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment.
• Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Good team player.
• Comfortable working in a small team where role boundaries flex to suit business needs.
• Full driving license required.

Education Requirements:

• Good general level of education, possibly A’Level or Degree level.
• Competency in english and maths.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluency in English to a good standard, verbal and written.

Any Other Details:

• OEM training will be provided where required.
• Full in house system training will be provided.
• Company provided tech – laptop, iPad and mobile phone.
• UK travel required weekly. Occasional European travel.
