Warranty Administrator Junior – Avonmouth

Reports to: Warranty Manager

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Main Responsibilities:

• Keep excel based claiming registers up to date on a weekly basis
• Responsible for the return of parts to the manufacturers as and when required
• Maintain record of all parts returns to ensure successful return to Manufacturer
• Deal with any claim rejections with the relevant service department and then challenge with Manufacturer
• Provide reports and relevant data to support manufacturer warranty claims
• Other ad-hoc duties to assist the Warranty Department, such as raising jobs and answering customer telephone enquiries.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Any other administrative tasks within capabilities
• Answering incoming telephone calls and forwarding appropriately

Key skills:

Work experience within an office environment preferred but not essential
• Strong Administration background in Plant or similar industries preferred but not essential
• Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
• Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Ability to multi task and prioritise own tasks as required
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Confident and clear telephone manner

Education Requirements:

  • Good general level of Education including English, Maths and IT.
