Technical Support Assistant – National Coverage
Reports to: Technical Sales manager
Type of position: Full-time
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Location: UK wide coverage – “Based from” location negotiable
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team with technical and applications advice on the Finlay range
- Conduct pre-demonstration site visits to qualify machine(s) and customer requirements
- Conduct demonstrations of the equipment on customer sites
- Carry out post sales installations and equipment familiarization with customers and staff
- Provide product support to customers, post installation to reduce operator error related breakdowns and call outs.
- Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects
- Exceptional communication with customers and other staff
- Occasional requirement to work additional hours to support demonstrations and installations as required
Work Experience requirements:
- Experience of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Power point etc.)
- Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
- Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
- Must be able to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses.
Education Requirements:
- Good general level of Education including English, Maths and IT.
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills

- Manufacturers Training will be provided
- Full in house system training will be provided
- Company vehicle
- Clean Driving license is essential
