Paint Technician – Avonmouth

Reports to: Paint Supervisor

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week plus Overtime

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand how to prep panels ready for paint
• Ability to use 2k paint system
• Carry out repairs using fillers
• Must be able to mask up panels
• Responsible for ensuring the warehouse is always kept tidy and organised
• Following all Health and safety procedures as advised
• Reporting any incidents to line manager and/or health and safety representative
• Must be able to report for duties on time and be willing to complete all tasks set, being flexible where required
• Assist line manager and overall department as requested to ensure timely completion of departmental tasks
• The ability to communicate effectively all relevant information obtained or observed
• Ensure procedures are followed and tasks are completed when unsupervised
• Must have the ability to prioritise own workload
• Must wear any PPE as provided and instructed

Additional Responsibilities:

• Any other tasks within capabilities
• Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential

Education Requirements:

• Good general level of Education including English, Maths and IT.
