APPRENTICE – Finance Broker – CEF – Bristol

Reports to: Head of Department

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Location: South Liberty Lane, Bristol

Main Responsibilities:

Working with a national commercial finance brokerage this entry level position involves providing internal support to the wider broker team from the South Bristol office while also developing new business opportunities from which the successful candidate will benefit through an additional commission scheme.

First contact with potential clients and establishing new opportunities.

• Relationship building – working toward a Trusted Advisor Status.

• Providing potential clients with an understanding of our products and services.

• Analysing client’s needs and objectives, finding a finance solution that works for them.

• Supporting the rest of the broker team to progress deals through to payout.

Skill and Experience

A minimum of 3 months experience within an outbound calling sales role is preferred, but not essential. Sales experience is key whether it be face-to-face or via the phone. We are looking for a competent communicator with the ability to influence.

• Excellent phone manners and strong communication skills, written, verbal.

• A self-motivated, positive, and extremely target-driven character.

• Confident, professional, and engaging personality

• Strong desire to succeed in sales, to maximise their income potential and career progression.

• A willingness and ability to listen and learn quickly. The company is committed to training and investing in their staff – you will be given training in role, learning as you go.  This training will equip you with a broad knowledge in Asset Finance and the skills to be able to develop your career within the business.

Education Requirements:

• Good general level of Education including English and Maths
• Microsoft Office knowledge
