Group Treasury Manager – Avonmouth

Reports to: Finance Controller

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

The treasurer position is responsible for corporate liquidity and credit control.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Forecast cash flow positions and related borrowing needs across the Group, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
  2. Day to Day Management of Accounts Payable and Credit Control teams
  3. Point of escalation to resolve issues arising from those teams
  4. Use hedging to mitigate financial risks particularly interest rate and foreign exchange positions
  5. Maintain relationships with bankers and other funders
  6. Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities
  7. Ensure the prompt collection of debts arising from the sale of capital equipment
  8. Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements.
  9. Develop KPI’s to assess Group’s treasury operations
  10. Ensure group’s treasury operations are cost efficient
  11. Provide technical and other support for mergers and acquisitions and other projects as needed

Skill and Experience

5+ years of progressively responsible treasury and credit control experience for an SME

Ability to effectively build relations with colleagues, funders, customers and suppliers

Competent with Excel and Office programmes

  • Good general level of Education including English and Maths
