Commercial Analyst – Avonmouth

Reports to: Commercial Manager

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of the sales team’s quoting tool, including updating pricing data, equipment specifications and availability reports. Uploading new pricing data into the pricing tool, managing user access and resolving pricing queries  
• Providing support to the sales team & directors with preparation of deal costings and tender applications
• Management of equipment stock ordering, from initial stock ordering analysis, to ordering equipment in the ERP system, preparation of order forms & finalising order confirmations with suppliers
• Key liaison with equipment suppliers for stock availability and pricing queries
• Managing equipment data quality within the company ERP system, ensuring records are accurately maintained by the sales support and transport teams
• Commercial oversight of equipment allocations, to ensure that the deal requirements are met
• Reporting of equipment sales data to our suppliers
• Ad-hoc reporting & analysis as requested, including analysis of equipment data, stock availability and sales history
• Provide support for the management of key accounts, working with the directors, sales team & commercial manager. Including; control & oversight of order processing through to delivery, resolving production queries, ensuring equipment is invoiced and paid, feeding back information to other process stakeholders
• Preparation of sales team commission data ready for management review. Distributing commission summaries to the sales team monthly

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily excel) and video conferencing tools

Experienced with using ERP/ CRM systems and Power BI is desirable

Education Requirements:

• Good general level of Education including English, Maths and IT.

• Understanding of Plant & Machinery advantageous but not essential
• Degree level (or equivalent qualification) from a Business Management / Finance / Accounting discipline advantageous but not essential
