Technical Support Assistant – National Coverage

Reports to: Technical Sales manager

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Location: UK wide coverage – “Based from” location negotiable

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team with technical and applications advice on the Finlay range
  • Conduct pre-demonstration site visits to qualify machine(s) and customer requirements
  • Conduct demonstrations of the equipment on customer sites
  • Carry out post sales installations and equipment familiarization with customers and staff¬†
  • Provide product support to customers, post installation to reduce operator error related breakdowns and call outs.
  • Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects
  • Exceptional communication with customers and other staff
  • Occasional requirement to work additional hours to support demonstrations and installations as required

Work Experience requirements:

  • Experience of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Power point etc.)
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
  • Must be able to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses.

Education Requirements:

  • Good general level of Education including English, Maths and IT.
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Manufacturers Training will be provided
  • Full in house system training will be provided
  • Company vehicle
  • Clean Driving license is essential
