Sales Support Administrator – Avonmouth

Reports to: Sales Support Team Leader

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be assigned a number of Sales Managers and look after their orders throughout the whole process through to delivery of the machine to the customer. Liaising with different departments and informing the Sales Manager of any issues or delays
  • Accurately updating our in-house ERP system, Equipment data, Customer receipt dates, Serial numbers, Equipment specifications etc in a timely manner.
  • Processing Equipment Sales Agreements: allocating equipment, raising workshop prep job sheets, raising proforma’s and invoicing, sending out credit application forms to get accounts raised.
  • Ordering a wide range of new or used Plant & Equipment from OEMs nationally and internationally and maintaining accurate equipment records.
  • Raising Equipment Purchase Orders, sub-contractor purchase orders, including processing goods receiving and co-ordinating prompt payments to suppliers.
  • Liaising with multiple departments to ensure specifications are correct and machines will be ready for dispatch.
  • Ensuring finance for the equipment is agreed on time and machine payments are not delayed before customer delivery.
  • Compilation and distribution of customer document packs

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Any other administrative tasks within capabilities
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and forwarding appropriately

Skill and Experience

  • Experience from a Plant, Truck, or Agricultural sales administration background advantageous but not essential
  • Able to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise own tasks as required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Clear and confident telephone manner
  • Familiarity with dealer management systems

Education Requirements:

  • Good general level of Education including English and Maths and IT
