Parts Assistant – Avonmouth

Reports to: Parts Manager

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the identification of parts requirements
  • Liaise with Molson Green Engineers to identify and order their Parts requirements
  • Liaise with Department Service Managers to identify and organise all Parts requirements
  • Accurately assign parts to live jobs in the ERP system
  • Raise purchase orders for material shortages where parts are not in stock
  • Raise packing slips for parts required and communicate effectively to demand warehouses
  • Organise and maintain parts returns of engineers, locate, and allocate Parts back to stock or through supplier return
  • Produce Parts and Service quotations
  • Process Parts sales orders from enquiry through to invoice
  • Organise site deliveries for Integrated work orders
  • Liaise with site depot contacts to carry out stock checks and update details in ERP system
  • Organise stock checking on Molson Green Engineers vans
  • Liaise with accounts departments to resolve any accounts related issues
  • Must ensure that any Health and Safety concerns are immediately escalated to Line Manager
  • Must ensure that company supplied uniform and PPE is always worn according to company policy
  • To carry out any other duties required by Line Manger

Work experience requirements:

  • Parts experience desired, Molson product training will be provided

Education Requirements:

  • Good general level of Education including English, Maths and IT.
