Molson Equipment, Sales Operations Manager

Reports to: Commercial Manager

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Main Responsibilities:

Management of the;

  • Sales Administration team
  • Rental & Transport team
  • Equipment Registration & Telematics team
  • Leading and co-ordinating business process improvements and implementation of best practice in the above areas and integrating these with other departments
  • Ensuring team members are well trained with the tasks at hand & identifying training needs
  • Ensuring data quality across sales agreements, equipment records, purchase orders, stock locations, and rental agreements with a “right first time” philosophy
  • Developing sales administration, rental and transport reporting
  • Ensuring timely; processing of sales agreements, purchase orders (for both equipment purchasing and sub-contractor works), goods receiving of purchase orders, closure of cost of sale accruals, updating of the equipment records (including prompt entry of year of manufacture, serial numbers, updating of expected receipt dates, expected cost, location entry)
  • Checking & approval of equipment invoices, resolving queries with the Suppliers
  • Checking & approval of subcontractor purchase invoices (which are raised by Sales Admin, Transport or Rental), resolving queries
  • Lead & develop system improvements with the dealer management software provider – for sales administration, transport, and rental functions

Work experience requirements:

  • Strong problem solving, leadership, and people management skills
  • Experienced with dealer management software and reporting tools
  • Proven ability to manage people remotely (including the use of video conferencing when appropriate)
  • Strong IT and reporting skills

Education Requirements:

  • Good general level of Education including English, Maths and IT.
