Accounts Payable Clerk – Avonmouth

Reports to: Accounts Payable Supervisor

Type of position: Full-time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming telephone messages in a friendly and professional manner
  • Opening of new supplier accounts
  • Ensuring invoices received are saved
  • Statement Reconciliations
  • Processing Invoices
  • Resolve invoice/supplier queries
  • Ensure invoices authorised and have POs
  • Reconcile Credit Card statements
  • Build relationships with suppliers
  • Identify suppliers where cost savings could be made

Skill and Experience

  • Work experience within an office environment essential
  • Confident and clear telephone manner
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise own tasks as required

Education Requirements:

  • Good general level of Education including English and Maths
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
