Warehouse Manager – INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Staff work efficiently and are focused and organized
  • Identify any training requirement to ensure safety and productivity of warehouse staff
  • Take ownership of warehouse, bucket yard and outside areas to ensure best storage practices are followed to maximize storage capacity, areas also remain tidy, organized and well maintained
  • Responsible for goods in, unloading, checking and ERP system receipting and locating correctly
  • Orders picked and dispatched within agreed time frame
  • Company health and safety policy always followed -identifying areas for improvement if required
  • Vehicles unloaded safely and in correct areas with appropriate equipment
  • Any stock issues identified, correct people notified and rectified
  • IT equipment used correctly and in line with company guidelines
  • Ensure warehouse is staffed during open hours (Mon-Fri 7.00-6.00 and 8-12 Sat)
  • Any part requested by other departments is booked/correctly picked
  • Work with other departments to aid parts request/deliveries/collection
  • Use appropriate shipping methods to ship orders/parts request
  • Ensure any returned parts are removed from live ERP work orders and located correctly
  • All space is used as efficiently as possible, and space developed where possible
  • Any stock that arrives without proper documentation is identified to correct department and suitably isolated until resolved
  • Monitor stock levels of fast-moving lines – oils/filters/large parts/consumables
  • All international shipments have correct paperwork and are compliant with customs procedures/requirements
  • All import and exports are fully documented and required paperwork created/saved
  • Stock is all accounted for with regular stock checks- anomalies reported/investigated
  • Ensure weekly and daily check of equipment are completed and recorded with HS department

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attend health and safety monthly meetings and deliver on any subsequent action points
  • Enforcing company rules and regulations
  • To represent the company in a professional, enthusiastic, and positive manner
  • Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere
  • Work with Group Warehouse Manager to develop warehouse and improve processes to suit business needs
  • Must ensure that company supplied uniform, and PPE is always worn according to company policy
  • To carry out any other duties required by Line Manager

Education Requirements:

  • Good general level of Education including English, Maths, and IT

Any other details:

  • Forklift Licence (Counter balance) and Warehouse Management experience required, Molson product training will be provided.
  • VNA (Bendi/Aisle Master) forklift experience would be beneficial but full training will be provided.
